It is our intention to provide our clients with a professional experience.
The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular clients.
We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Last minute meetings, traffic considerations, and project deadlines, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment.
In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our time, we have adopted the following policies:

In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our time, we have adopted the following policies:
ARRIVAL
Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time for a relaxed and unhurried experience. |
LATE ARRIVAL
Full payment will be charged for partial sessions.We regret that late arrivals may not be able to receive an extension of their scheduled appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. |
CANCELLATION
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If you fail to cancel prior to 24 hours before your appointment, 50% of the cost of service will be charged as partial compensation. |
INFORMED CONSENT
Prior to each session, a treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will receive a copy of the policies and will be asked to sign the consent stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year will also be asked to fill out this form. |
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
We may apply manual techniques and adjunct therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client. We do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions nor do we provide treatment for a specific condition without a doctor’s supervision. We may refer you for diagnosis and can follow the recommendations of your physician. |
RESPECT FOR CLIENT NEEDS AND BOUNDARIES
We are happy to adjust pressure, work longer on an area or move on if you request it, and make any adjustments to the environment for your comfort. The client may choose to refuse any methods, stop treatment at any time, and is free to leave. We encourage and recommend your communication before, during or after the session so that we cam accommodate your safety and needs. |
PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and will be reported. The client will not be rescheduled if this occurs. Sexual interaction or discussion of a sexual nature between the client and therapist is NEVER appropriate. |
CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONVERSATION
The discussion between the therapist and the client is confidential. Unless this is a coaching session the client may or may not choose to talk during the session. We are happy to listen to your conversation and share our professional expertise. We prefer not to discuss topics of a political or private nature (unless it is in the context of a coaching session). EXISTING AND NEW MEDICAL CONDITIONS
It is the responsibility of the client to keep us informed of any medical treatment, or past relevant information. Some conditions may require written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the treatment may be continued. The client must also keep the therapist informed of any changes in health conditions. |
